Break out the low-rise jeans and charge up your iPod Nano—it’s time to relive the chaos that was the 2000s. This trivia night is a full-send nostalgia trip through a decade that gave us flip phones, reality TV meltdowns, pop-punk angst, and way too many celebrity feuds.

Emerging from late night songwriting sessions at a dimly lit kitchen table, Marcus Truschinski (vocals) and Ben Feiner (guitar/vocals) laid the groundwork for what would become Violet Palms’ signature blend of early2000s nostalgia, modern rock heft, and irrepressible funk. They were soon joined by veteran local engineer turned drummer Michael Mertens, funk fiend bassist and actor/advocate Tim Gittings, and Craig Benzine, YouTube icon and frontman of Driftless Pony Club.

Doors 5pm - Music 7:30pm - $5-$10 Suggested Donation - The Point of Jazz is a jazz collective led by recent graduates of the music department at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Each week starts with a featured artist for the first hour at 7:30pm and opens up for community members to jam from 8:30pm-9:30pm.
