Michelle LL, many know her as co-founder of the band, Copper Box, but this time presents another aspect of her musical career with the spotlight on her as the lead vocalist and co-songwriter (along with her husband, Danny Jerabek) in a more crossroads, blues, Americana light that will deliver a musical experience filled with joy, catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics and a little grit.

Known for their inventive weekly sessions recorded live at the library, Fox Menagerie is an ever-changing collective of the Fox Valley’s absolute finest. Marques Morel is an American songwriter/story-teller, midwestern-twanger/folksinger, guitar-thumper/harmonica wailer, street-performer/wandering troubadour, steadfast woodcutter/migrant worker, a father, a son, and a friend to all.“Taking his cue from the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, and any number of other tattered troubadours, (Marques Morel) sounds like a cross between Johnny Cash, Bob Seger, and the late John Stewart.

Emerging from late night songwriting sessions at a dimly lit kitchen table, Marcus Truschinski (vocals) and Ben Feiner (guitar/vocals) laid the groundwork for what would become Violet Palms’ signature blend of early2000s nostalgia, modern rock heft, and irrepressible funk. They were soon joined by veteran local engineer turned drummer Michael Mertens, funk fiend bassist and actor/advocate Tim Gittings, and Craig Benzine, YouTube icon and frontman of Driftless Pony Club.

Phillip-Michael was born in Michigan, forged in Chicago, and resides in Nashville, TN. He grew up with B.B. King calling him “nephew” and calls his music "Dive Bar Soul," a blend of Indie Rock storytelling and the passion of the blues. Ellen featured him on her final season and most recently, Scales opened for the legendary, Keb’ Mo’ for the month of June.
