Lou Shields has released a new album, *Old Riverside*, and will have vinyl records available at his upcoming show. A passionate steward of American musical traditions, Lou performs with vintage instruments like his 1931 National Resonator Guitar and incorporates harmonica, foot percussion, and storytelling to evoke the spirit of early Blues and Americana. Over a 20-year career, he has toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe, releasing nine full-length albums and 13 EPs.

His repertoire upholds musical pillars such as Blind Willie McTell, George Carter, Blind Lemon Jefferson and Leadbelly. His life’s work continues the distinguished tradition of the very roots of American music as told by the African American musicians who created it.
